The all-electric Audi A6 E-Tron Avant is being actively developed, as evidenced by these freshly snapped spy shots. Despite the body being completely wrapped in camo, there is no mistaking its production-ready state.
Aerodynamic performance is a priority for all electric vehicles, as it is one of the core conditions of getting more range per charge. The camo cannot conceal that the front end is styled as a smooth, solid slab and that there is only one opening there – a trapezoid air intake in the lower apron.
The windshield is rather sharply slanted, as is the rear glass. Video cameras are provided instead of side mirrors, and there is a modest-sized spoiler at the back. The taillights are horizontal.
It remains to be announced when the all-electric A6 family may premiere.
