Audi will be introducing a new range-topping A8 in 2021, which might end up named ‘Horch’ in an homage to the vintage premium vehicle of the same name. The ultra-opulent sedan/saloon will land in the same market segment as the Mercedes-Maybach.
Horch cars used to be produced in Germany from 1904 to 1932. The modern Audi A8 Horch will sport retro-styled logos and ship will most options already included.
Rumor has it that the sedan will come powered by the six-liter V12 engine of the Bentayga Speed, rated close to the 636 hp (474 kW) of the latter.
The Horch might debut simultaneously with the 2021 Audi A8 facelift.
