Audi will be unveiling its new electric coupe/SUV model called the E-Tron Sportback at the 2019 LA Auto Show coming up on November 22.
The announcement was made during the ongoing IAA Frankfurt 2019, where Audi exhibits quite a few new cars, including the A1 Citycarver, the Q3 Sportback, the RS6 Avant, the RS7 Sportback, and others.
The new E-Tron Sportback will be styled similarly to Audi’s other coupe-shaped SUVs, complete with a sloped roof and inclined c-pillars, and come based on the standard E-Tron.
The drivetrain and tech will not be revised. Like its Quattro 55 predecessor, the new E-Tron will pack 408 PS (300 kW) and 664 Nm (490 lb-ft) of torque. A special E-Tron S is also in development, however, promising more power sourced from three electric motors.
Sales will start early next year. Prices for the Audi E-Tron series in the USA and Europe currently begin at $74,800 and €80,900, respectively.
