The e-tron EV hit the showrooms in Europe in the fall of 2018, and Audi has been improving the model ever since. In the latest update launched this week, the e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback 55 both gain a second AC charging slot. Simultaneous charging via the dual slots enables to raise the charge current power to 22 kilowatts.
The cabin received its own range of improvements, most notably a new steering wheel with a different touch-sensitive sensor. Reports say drivers now only need to touch the wheel once per minute for the autopilot to continue working (you should still follow the instructions in the manual and keep your hands on the wheel, of course).
One final highlight comes in the form of redesigned 22-inch wheels.
