Soon after Audi shared pics of its upcoming e-tron GT model and confirmed that a performance-packed RS version was coming as well, anonymous insiders started reporting on its preliminary specs.
According to these rumors, the e-tron GT RS will pack three electric motors in total, two mounted on the rear axle and one at the front. At around 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW), the sports car will allegedly be positioned straight under its technical sibling, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. As such, it will sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around three seconds.
The e-tron GT RS will also likely land with performance brakes and suspension,. Its 95-kWh battery will give it around 400 kilometers (250 miles) of range.
The RS will become the most expensive model in the e-tron GT lineup while still remaining more affordable than the Taycan Turbo S ($185,000+ in the United States).
