At the beginning of the year, famous racing driver and showman Ken Block announced an end of his long-term involvement with Ford and signed up with Audi. During his recent visit to Germany, he got around to driving a number of the marque’s iconic sports cars, including an Audi DTM rally racer.
The car uses a V8 rated at 418 PS (412 hp / 307 kW), making it roughly 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) more powerful than its class rivals. A modified six-speed manual transmission sends the power to all four wheels.
Ken Block also tried out the E-tron Vision GT, a virtual electric supercar designed for Grand Turismo. The video game prototype has 810 PS (800 hp / 596 kW) at its disposal and sports a livery reminiscent of earlier Audi racecars.
