Audi is preparing two electric SUVs to debut later in the year. One is the facelifted e-tron, which rumors claim might be renamed to Q8 e-tron, and the other one is a brand new Q6 e-tron. Recent spy videos reveal both cars being driven in snow and ice beyond the Arctic Circle.
Starting with the e-tron, the model looks like both its nose and tail will be considerably reworked. Changes are expected in the powertrain department as well: engines could become more powerful and/or more efficient, and the batteries will likely get more capacity. As for the interior, major changes there are planned for the next generation due out in 2026, so we wouldn’t expect much to happen there until then.
In turn, the Q6 E-Tron is a true dark horse clad in camo almost completely. Little is known about its technical specifications, either, but rumor has it that Audi will be releasing a high-end RS version of the electric Q6. This rumored version will allegedly have 608 PS (600 hp / 447 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal and benefit from a premium platform named PPE, which Audi co-designed with Porsche.
