Check out the first Electrikhana episode, the new Audi-sponsored Gymkhana

Ken Block has shared his first Gymkhana-inspired video since breaking off his contract with Ford and partnering up with Audi. Entitled ‘Electrikhana’, the Las Vegas stunt show stars a unique dual-motor EV known as the Audi S1 Hoonitron.

The extreme driver puts his one-off electric steed through its courses by drifting, burning rubber, driving past all of the Vegas’ main landmarks and performing his signature stunts. A particularly impressive scene has the Hoonitron rotating around its own axis and almost not moving from the spot in front of a luxurious casino with glass doors.

On his way through the city, Block meets professional boxers, an ‘Elvis Presley’ and a number of exotic Audi cars, including a rally-focused Quattro model from the mid-1980s, Le Mans racers from various years, and even some of the rarest road-legal cars.

Audi unveiled the Hoonitron last December. The unique prototype absorbed some of the latest automotive tech while boasting retrospective looks paying homage to the automaker’s motorsports past. The technical parameters were not revealed during the premiere, but it later turned out that the car was packing dual Audi Formula E racing motors rated at 3,000 Newton-meters (2,213 pound-feet) of torque each.
