Following in the tire tracks of its parent brand Volkswagen, Audi has also announced teaming up with a company from China to develop its next electric vehicle architecture.
The Ingolstadt manufacturer will be joining forces with SAIC Group on a chassis known as the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP). The company plans to use it for making compact-sized B- and C-class electric vehicles for the domestic market of China.
Thanks to its collaboration with SAIC, Audi reckons it will be able to design and produce EVs around 30% faster than if it had to do so alone.
