Audi is recalling some e-tron GT units in the USA just as Porsche is recalling various Taycan versions over a fault discovered in one of the air suspension struts.
As NHTSA points out, the part may leak air until empty due to an improperly seated retaining ring. As a result, the suspension will stay in its lowest position, compromising driving comfort and posing a potential risk of accidents.
A total of 96 Audi e-tron GT assembled over a two-week period in September 2021 will be recalled. For the Porsche Taycan, 28 units made since late July until October 25, 2020 are affected.
