Audi Q2 gets a mid-life update

The refreshed Audi Q2 retains the same tech while getting new multimedia features, a slightly simplified interior design and a more attractive base trim. Sales in Europe will start later in the first half of 2024 from €28,600.

The facelifted subcompact CUV now ships with a 12.3-inch digital dash display and an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen already included in the base spec. Both screens are high-resolution and support multiple data presentation modes. The old version (see video) shipped with an analog gauge cluster that you could replace with a small 7-inch display, and a head unit that maxed out at 8.3 inches of diagonal size.

Aside from this, the new Q2 got a slightly redesigned steering wheel and a transmission tunnel without a selector knob – there’s a box for miscellanea in its place now. The voice assistant has been improved, Audi says, and the selection of available electronic assists has become wider.

In Europe, the car is obtainable with petrol and diesel engines rated from 116 to 150 PS (114–148 hp; 85–110 kW).
