Audi has begun testing the new Q3 SUV ahead of launch in 2024, Motor1 reports posting some spy photos. The third generation will be the last to still use internal combustion engines. It will go into production in Hungary and primarily compete with the BMW X1 when it reaches the showrooms.
Based on the images, the new Q3 gets a wide Singleframe radiator grille, narrow-slit headlights, a sculpted hood and taillights connected with a light strip. There seems to be a charging port at one side, possibly meaning that the car is hybrid. Overall, it looks much like Audi’s battery EVs, like the Q4 E-Tron.
Rumor has it the next Q3 generation will move to the MQB Evo platform and be physically larger than the current one. All other information remains to be revealed later.
