Audi’s flagship SUV, the RS Q8, already enjoys a selection of body kits and bespoke accessories designed by several major tuner shops. Today, Manhart joins the club with an exclusive edition of its own.
The magnificent Manhart RQ 900 wears an extremely lightweight carbon-fiber body kit rendered particularly appealing by its bold front spoiler and rear diffuser. A full-body wrap in the familiar gold-and-black color scheme creates a sense of unity and integrity, and robust Manhart Concave One wheels measuring 23 inches across suit the new image extremely well.
Looks aren’t everything this time around, either. The tuner persuades the stock twin-turbo V8 engine to deliver stellar 900 hp (671 kW) along with 1,080 Nm (800 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels, as opposed to the standard 600 hp (447 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft). The launch times aren’t available, but we’d expect 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in barely over three seconds.
The Manhart RQ 900 comes out in 10 units priced starting from €280,000.
