The 2024 Audi Q8 and SQ8 have now been officially introduced in Europe, and sales are set to begin in just a few days starting from €86,700. Both cars sport high-tech headlight units and new trim options, but the cabin layout and the powertrains stay the same.
On the outside, the facelift versions switch between different grille patterns depending on the trim level. The Q8 has a revised front bumper as well with reshaped air intakes and new tailpipes at the rear. Both get five wheel sets to choose from, sized from 21 to 23 inches large.
Perhaps the main novelty from both the stylistic and the technical perspective is the HD Matrix headlights. They are offered as a paid option and feature laser high beams that turn on automatically at 70 km/h (43.5 mph) and above. You also get four DRL patterns to switch between with these lights.
The brake lights are also new and OLED-based, a first for the Q8 lineup. Their light signature is also configurable. In addition to their main function, the lights have built-in proximity warning sensors: if another car approaches your stationary Q8 to within less than 2 meters (6.5 feet), the Q8 will fire up all taillight segments at its disposal as a warning.
As for the trim, there is some new décor and different stitching options, but that’s all. The infotainment system has learned to connect to third-party apps like Spotify, and the digital dash can finally display driving assist performance data.
