Audi will celebrate 10 years of its V10 engine tech by releasing a limited series titled “R8 V10 Decennium”. The production amount will be kept to 222 cars.
The anniversary-issue R8 sports 20-inch wheels with a bronze finish, carbon highlights here and there, side moldings, a black rear diffuser, a front spoiler and an exclusive matte-grey body color.
The interior of the special R8 is mostly black with occasional visual carbon inserts. There are sport seats adorned with copper-tinted stitching and a commemorative plaque with the name of the series etched on it.
The two-door coupe still comes powered by the same stock 5.2 V10 engine rated at 620 hp (462 kW). This is hardly going to be a problem, though, given that it sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds and tops out somewhere beyond 330 km/h (205 mph).
The Audi R8 V10 Decennium Edition will arrive on its domestic market in Germany this spring priced at €222,000.
