The Hoonigan team has posted another drag racing video to YouTube, but don’t hasten to any conclusions: it is an Audi R8 against a Harley Davidson motorcycle, both tuned to hell and back.
The German sports car enjoys a power boost to 1,500 PS (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW), which should make it unstoppable in conjunction with a lightning-fast pre-selective DCT and AWD.
However, the bike is nowhere near stock, either. It relies on a nitrous oxide system to launch itself forward at a crazy speed. It also weighs in at mere 415 kilograms (915 lbs), one-fourth of the 1,723 kg (3,800 lbs) curb weight of the R8. On the downside, it only produces 240 PS (237 hp / 176 kW).
Believe it or not, the two-wheeler pretty much wiped the asphalt with the R8 both times. Be sure to watch the video and skip to around 10 minutes in for the races.
