The life cycle of the Audi R8 is officially over now as the last supercar has rolled off the Böllinger Höfe assembly line in Heilbronn, Germany.
It was a vivid yellow Audi R8 Performance quattro coupe equipped with a V10 engine tuned to 620 PS (612 hp / 456 kW). The company had planned to stop the lines several months earlier, but extended the production until the end of March to deliver on all the preorders.
The R8 was Audi’s smallest-run car in recent history. The company sold only 1,591 units of it in the entire 2023. As such, it will not receive a direct successor anytime soon – Audi confirmed a while ago that it didn’t have one in plans for the foreseeable future.
