Did you know that it is the humble Audi RS3 and not the RS4, RS5, RS6, RS7 or even the range-topping RS Q8 that enjoys the most attention from tuning companies? The reason lies in the engine bay: the VW EA855 evo five-banger has loads of hidden potential that bears unlocking. This week, German tuner Urban Motors did just that.
The hot hatchback received a Stage 3 power kit that included new air intake components, enhanced cooling, a downpipe with a catalyst, and an ECU reflash. When all was installed and tweaked, the output rose to 510 hp (380 kW) and the torque to 620 Nm (457 lb-ft).
The seven-speed semi-auto transmission was left in its stock condition, while the suspension received KW Clubsport 3-way adjustable coil-overs. OEM wheels made room for black-and-red OZ Hyper GT HTL wheels sized 19×8,5 inches, and Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 RS tires were picked for optimum power delivery to the ground.
Wrapping things up is a unique livery consisting of a see-through protective wrap painted Army Green with custom graphics on the rear fenders, quarterpanels and the hood.
