Even as a stock car, the Audi RS3 has enviable acceleration chops thanks to its engine churning out 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) and an all-wheel drive system delivering the thrust to the axles. However, it pales in comparison to this tuned example recently reviewed in a video by AutoTopNL.
Tuners have taken this specific coupe to a whopping 650 PS (641 hp, or 478 kW). The scope of modifications has not been revealed, but we suspect that a larger turbine and better engine software were involved, as well as a plethora of other, smaller mods.
As you may see for yourself, the RS3 has the power to match the paper specs: it hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds without using launch control and proceeds to cover a quarter of a mile in 11.32 seconds. What is even more impressive is the top speed, which the odometer reported as 319 km/h (198 mph). The GPS app simultaneously reported 303 km/h (188 mph), but in either case, the result is quite commendable for the Ingolstadt-designed 2.5-liter five-cylinder mill.
