Audi Sport has produced the ultimate LMS version of its RS 3 sedan. Here are the details.
You will be challenged to see that the car is actually based on the fourth-gen Audi A3, because it has different body proportions, an aero kit, a massive rear wing, new headlights and wide slicks in the arches. The cabin sports a racing-compliant roll cage and only one seat to minimize curb weight.
Powering the ride is a two-liter, four-cylinder turbo modified to deliver 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed sequential gearbox forwards the momentum to the wheels.
Other upgrades include an emergency hatch in the roof and an especially solid driver’s seat that now resides in the middle, surrounded by protective mesh.
