ABT hands Audi RS 3 an invitation into 300 km/h club

Just 11 years ago, the Audi S3 sedan and hatchback dominated the lineup of Audi compacts, but then the German automaker succumbed to the demand and produced the RS 3. The model is in its third generation now and still popular, which implies inevitable attention from tuning shops around the globe.

In its factory form, the modern Audi RS 3 is a perfectly capable performance car with 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) at its disposal. ABT Sportsline offers installing its trademark engine control module to bump the output to 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW). Doing so shaves 0.2 seconds off the standard sprint time, letting the car go from standing still to moving at highway speed in 3.6 seconds.

In addition to the above, ABT can push the electronic speed limiter to 300 km/h (186 mph) and add running board illumination that will project the company logo to the ground nearby whenever you open a door. Other options are still in development, but set to debut soon.
