Audi RS 3 gets a suspension upgrade

There is arguably little you can do with the latest Audi RS 3 (see video) – by the standards of its class, the car looks, sounds and handles like a dream. Still, suspension specialist H&R has found an aspect worth working on.

The new coil-over spring kit can be installed on models with standard or adaptive suspension and drops the ride height by 15–25 mm (0.6–1 inches) on the front axle. For the rear axle, the lowering will amount to even more impressive 15-30 mm (0.6-1.2 inches), adjustable with a millimeter precision.

Once installed, cornering becomes easier and the body of the car sways less when driving over bumps or potholes. The long-distance travel comfort remains on an acceptable level, the company says.

The spring kit can already be ordered in Germany for €746. If you are in the market for new wheels, H&R has Trak+ wheel spacers in stock as well, priced from €104 per axle.
