The current Audi RS 3 (see video) may be just one year old, but it is already being prepared for a mid-life update. A fresh batch of spy shots shows a Sportback prototype tested on the North Loop. Let’s have a closer look, shall we?
The camo conceals only some of the exterior, namely the sides, the radiator grille and the bumpers. Round tailpipes and updated taillight patterns can still be seen.
Chances are good that the new RS 3 will get a turbo five-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed DCT and Quattro AWD. In its current form, the engine produces around 406 PS (400 hp / 299 kW).
