ABT Sportsline reveals Audi RS3 Sedan upgrade package

The ABT Sportsline crew have recently had their hands tied working on the Audi RS3 Sportback and couldn’t dedicate enough time to its sedan sibling. This is all in the past, however, as the tuning atelier has released an extensive range of updates for the Audi RS3 Sedan earlier today.

Perhaps the atelier fans would rather like to see a body kit more specifically tailored for the sedan version of the vehicle, rather than the one that looks almost identical to that of the Audi RS3 Sportback. The entire vehicle front, its radiator grille, lights and side skirts are precisely the same. The only minor differences can be found in the design of the rear diffusor, the chromed black exhaust pipes, and the wheels. The interior now makes use of carbon paneling, ergonomic sport seats and ABT Sportsline logos.

There is considerably more going on under the hood. The tuners have managed to raise the stock 2.5L engine performance by almost 100 hp / 75 kW to a total of 493 hp / 368 kW. The torque similarly went up to 570 Nm / 420 lb·ft. To achieve this, the team had to install an intercooler and an engine firmware update. As a result, the car now accelerates to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 3.7 seconds – 0.4s faster than in the stock version.

The Audi RS3 Sedan has also received a new stainless-steel exhaust system, new suspension, better brake mechanisms and anti-roll bars.

ABT Sportsline never mentioned the price of their Audi RS3 Sedan upgrade package.
