It is a shame how often sports car aficionados overlook the splendid Audi RS4 Avant (B8). Sure, the estate/wagon looks a bit lackluster and not exactly sporty on the outside, but it does come powered by a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 rated at a beefy 450 horsepower (336 kilowatts). Furthermore, it is one of those precious few family cars that can hit 8,300 RPM – that is, only 100 RPM below everyone’s favorite BMW M3 (E92). This makes it an excellent ride for speed junkies, unless you find the €100,000+ price tag for the top trim with the 7-speed DSG and carbon-ceramic brakes too much.
Anyway, one of these vehicles has recently made it to the workshop of Lars K Design. The tuner has swapped its stock wheels out for an elegant-looking Rohana RFX11 set with a Brushed Titanium look. For those rims to look perfect in their arches, it has also lowered the suspension somewhat.
We here at FormaCar believe that the new wheels are a fairly good match for the Audi RS4 Avant (B8). That said, the dual-color vanilla rims were not exactly bad, either. What's your take?
