Audi RS4 Avant to enter showrooms in January with a €79,800 price tag

The German premium car maker Audi starts offline sales of its latest model, the RS4 Avant, in January 2018. The car, which had seen its debut at the IAA Frankfurt earlier this year, should come priced at €79,800 and above.

The high-end Audi RS4 Avant estate car comes with a 2.9-liter V6 TFSI bi-turbo engine. Driven by this engine with its 450 horsepower and 600 Nm torque, the car bolts 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) from standstill in just a little over 4 seconds. For reference, the same engine comes with Porsche Panamera.

Buyers of the new Audi RS4 Avant may opt in for the already available RS Dynamic Package, which improves its road performance by raising the speed limit to 280 km/h (174 mph) from just 250 km/h (155 mph).

Needless to say, the newcomer gets a slew of improvements, whether technical or purely cosmetic, in comparison to the previous model. Primary points of interest include a more up-to-date transmission and electronically-steered rear compensation gear.

The vehicle now flaunts a new aerodynamic body with a set of 20-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the 2018 Audi RS4 Avant houses sporty-looking seats and a steering wheel, among other nice features.
