A low-mileage 2007 Audi RS4 crops up on sale

This B7-gen Audi RS4 sedan has 349 kilometers (217 miles) on its odometer, making it one of the world’s best-preserved cars of its generation.

The second iteration of the RS4 model went into production in 2006 and was discontinued only two years later. Aside from the sedan (watch the video for an example), the lineup included a station wagon and a convertible. A 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 provided 420 PS (415 hp / 309 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque for a six-speed manual transmission to convey to all four wheels.

This specific example in Mugello Blue has never changed ownership. It is reported to be in great condition, and has recently been thoroughly examined by Audi. The examination report will be handed over to the winning bidder along with the car.

The radiator grille is new because the old one started peeling, but the owner kept the old one, too. He also bought new Audi badges, but never installed them because the auction holder advised to keep the car as close to stock as possible.

The auction will take place in Great Britain in November.
