German tuning company BTM Turbo has produced a particularly extreme boost kit for the liftback version of the Audi RS 5, dialing it up to 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
To solve the engineering challenge, the tuner used two high-end turbochargers made in the house, an intercooler, a cold air intake system and a performance exhaust system complete with a metallic catalytic converter. Numerous tweaks had to be made in engine and transmission control units as well before the RS 5 could sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in supercar-defying 2.8 seconds.
Those ordering the Stage 5 tune-up are also offered a set of 20-inch WheelForce wheels designed to improve acceleration and handling, per BTM Turbo.
