The top trim of the Audi A6 (C8) will be out soon: the test mule unabashedly runs circle after circle with barely any camouflage on. The RS6 Avant is also coming soon.
Audi can be expected to reshape the fenders somewhat, make the aprons more prominent and design a new wheel set to go with the new vehicle series, but this isn’t all. The RS6 will be getting a four-liter V8 engine likely capable of around 650 hp (485 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb·ft) of torque. Eventually, the company will be releasing a 700-hp version, but “when?” remains a big question.
So what should those of us who don’t feel like waiting do? There is at least one solution: come to the RaceChip atelier for a chip tuning. The engineers promise that the simple upgrade will bring the current-gen Audi RS6 Performance (C7 4G) to the level of 700 hp (522 kW) and 890 Nm (655 lb·ft) of torque. This is way more than the production version is capable of, so why not?
