The so-called 25 Years of RS Anniversary Package is available for the TT RS, RS4 Avant, RS5 / RS5 Sportback, RS6 Avant, and RS7 Sportback, but none of the SUVs – because there were none on the Audi lineup a quarter of a century ago.
The special edition celebrates the 25th birthday of the 1994 RS2 Avant performance wagon, which provided the foundation for the entire RS series.
The offer includes the nostalgic Nogaro Blue paintjob that the original RS2 Avant used to be available in, but you may opt for Glacier White, Mythos Black or Nardo Grey if you like one of those more. The door panels come with integrated LED image projectors that illuminate the asphalt with the number ‘25’ whenever you open one of the doors. The cabin boasts a black leather/Alcantara trim combo with blue stitching for contrast, a blue zero mark on the steering wheel, and anniversary logos throughout.
The package is already available to pre-order in select countries. In Germany, prices hover in the €9,350 - €14,500 area (depends on the particular model).
Co-designed with Porsche, the 1994 Audi RS2 Avant rolled off the Zuffenhausen assembly lines packing a 2.2-liter five-cylinder engine with 315 hp (235 kW). The company produced a total of 2,891 units.
A month ago, Audi USA posted an interesting commercial shot for the launch of the 1994 RS2 Avant, but never released until now. You may watch it right here.
