Those who would like to have their 2020 Audi RS6 Avant (C8) tuned in the United States may now contact MTM USA for an estimation. The tuner promises as much as 784 hp (585 kW) and 1,030 Nm (760 lb-ft) of torque.
German vendor HGP Turbonachrüstung GmbH offers a similarly-specced power kit in Europe, but ordering one for USA use could be problematic due to the different certificates required. The MTM Stage 1 is fully road legal in the North America.
The company mentions that the same upgrade can be applied to the latest Audi RS7 and RS Q8, because all three share the same engine model (VW EA825 V8 4.0). Furthermore, it should be at least partially compatible with the derivatives of this engine found in the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne/Panamera, and Audi A8 (D5). The latter bit is not guaranteed, though.
