German tuner JMS Fahrzeugteile mainly tackles modern cars, but it does upgrade popular older models every now and then. This first-gen Audi RS6 Avant (C5, production years 2002 – 2004) is one of their latest releases.
The family hauler sports a stylish matte-grey wrap that makes it look much younger and more up-to-date than it is. Another major highlight comes in the shape of exclusive Cor.Speed Sports DeVille Inox wheels measuring 20 inches across. The ten-spoke pattern in the middle of the wheel protrudes from the rim, which creates an interesting optical illusion. You may almost imagine the hub of the wheel levitating inside the rim as if detached from it.
The abovementioned engine upgrade rounds things off in an impressive way. Back when the C5 Plus spec of the RS6 Avant came out, it had 480 hp (358 kW) at most – the manufacturer’s standpoint being that any more power would harm the transmission in the long run. Since this specific example packs a whopping 1,000 hp (745 kW) under the hood, we suspect that JMS has carried out plenty of modifications throughout its entire drivetrain. No further details are available with regards to this, unfortunately.
