Audi tuning specialist ABT Sportsline has recently announced the coming of 60 custom RS 4 models, and now, a similar run is planned for the RS 6 Avant. Only 30 estate cars will be upgraded with regard to the exterior, cabin and powertrain.
Called the RS6-X, the superwagon enjoys a 25% power boost alongside a 15% increase in peak torque, slamming the wheels with 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 920 Nm (679 lb-ft) of torque. Included in the upgrades are an external ECU module, a new turbocharger and an intercooler. The dynamic performance is not specified, but you can draw your own conclusions from the fact that the family hauler now hits 320 km/h (199 mph) in the straight line.
On the exterior side of things, the exclusive ABT RS6-X comes adorned with a carbon-fiber aero kit with exposed weave and rides on all-new ABT High Performance BFS22 forged wheels sized one inch above OEM. And if you wanted still more road presence, there is an exhaust system with four 102mm (4-inch) tailpipes to let everyone around know you aren’t driving stock.
Opening a door reveals illuminated sills, projected logos, carbon-fiber seat details and other purely aesthetic tweaks. Rounding things off is a laser engraving on the center armrest, saying ‘1 of 30’.
