Audi could be working on a high-performance spec of its RS 6 Avant wagon, Autocar is reporting.
Even in its stock form, the superwagon packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine that churns out 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. The above specs are true for both the latest RS 6 model and the RS 7 Performance released in late 2022. When asked whether Audi was done with upgrading the specs of the RS 6, Audi Sport Managing Director Sebastian Grams reportedly replied, “No, we can go more extreme.”
He refused to provide any further details, but we assume that Audi could produce a more market-oriented and affordable version of its hardcore RS 6 GTO Concept shown in the gallery and the video below. As for when it might go on sale, we assume the next year sounds real enough.
