2017 Audi RS 6 joins supercar crowd with engine tuning

Famous Audi vlogger Auditography has posted a rather picturesque video filmed near the glaciers of Kaunertal Valley in the Swiss Alps. Braving the snowy mountain peaks is none other than Audi RS 6.

In its stock guise, the pre-facelift sedan of the C7 generation outputs 605 PS (597 hp / 445 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. You would think it’s more than enough for a family car, but the example in the video has been tuned to produce 750 PS (740 hp  552 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). An uncredited tuner replaced a number of drivetrain components, installed 2.5-inch turbo inlets and rewrote the ECU software to handle all the extra power and torque.

As a result, the 2017MY car sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) from there in 6.35 seconds. It also doesn’t hit its speed ceiling until 330 km/h (205 mph) despite weighing around two metric tons before liquids (4,400 pounds).

The interior makes use of the RS6 Performance Avant trim package and accommodates an R8-style squared-off steering wheel. Other than that, it stays largely untouched. There is no mention of the pricing involved.
