Tuners transform the Audi RS 6 into an off-road-ready superwagon

The time of premium vehicles being designed as one-trick ponies is almost gone. Take the 600-horsepower Audi RS 6 Avant: it is a family hauler that you can bring to a track day and have some fun, too. The only thing it isn’t well-appointed for is arguably off-roading, but here’s when Pacific German comes in with its latest project.

The Californian shop has thoroughly rebuilt the German wagon by giving it 63.5 mm (2.5 inches) of extra ground clearance. 18-inch Forgeline wheels shod in BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain rubber slotted into the arches, and stainless-steel brake lines were installed.

Further modifications included undercarriage guards, two LED bars (cool and warm light) and a 700-PS (690-hp / 515-kW) engine tune. An Akrapovic performance exhaust system was added to let everyone know that the RS 6 is no longer stock.
