The performance-laden Audi RS7 will be revealed at the IAA Frankfurt show opening for the media tomorrow, September 10, 2019.
The new RS7 will arrive packing the same powertrain as its sibling, the RS6 Avant. Namely, a four-liter, eight-cylinder engine with dual turbochargers, 600 hp (447 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque at the crank. The sprint performance remains undisclosed, but the RS6 goes from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds.
On the outside, the hatchback will sport quite a few new design features to distinguish it from the estate/wagon, including new bumpers, exhaust system, 22-inch wheels etc.
The RS7 won’t be Audi’s only Frankfurt premiere by far. Out of 30 announced vehicles, 17 will be making their public debut in Germany tomorrow. This includes the RS7 and an SUV concept called the AI: Trail. The A1 citycarver, facelifted A4 / Q7, new Q3 Sportback / RS6 Avant, and e-tron FE06 Formula-e racecar will also be present.
