Could a family-friendly fastback sedan stand its own against a supercar on a drag strip? Hardly, unless extreme tuning is involved. But extreme tuning is what this particular specimen did receive, according to CarWOW.
Tuners took the RS7 from its usual 552 hp (412 kW) to 700 hp (522 kW), simultaneously raising the torque from 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) to 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). Given that the fastback packs eight-speed automatic transmission and AWD straight from the factory, this kind of upgrade molds it into a formidable opponent, indeed.
The Aventador approached the start line stock, as long as you are willing to use the word ‘stock’ to describe a vehicle with 739 hp (551 kW), 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque and a seven-speed semi-auto gearbox. It also weighs in 180 kilos (400 lbs) under the Audi, hits 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and costs seven or eight times the RS7 price.
Overall, we’d say the paper specs are still very much in favor of the Italian super sports coupe. But will it be able to realize its full potential? Watch the video and share your thoughts with us.
