When it leaves the factory, the RS7 does so with a four-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood rated at 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). Stage 1 bumps it up to 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) with a relatively straightforward ECU tune that also improves the exhaust soundtrack. The asking price is €3 400, but you can add €1 100 and get 740 PS (730 hp / 544 kW) thanks to different engine software.
Next down the list is Stage 2, which introduces a performance air filter and unlocks 780 PS (769 hp / 574 kW). The next kit throws exhaust system components and a drivetrain tune into the mix for €13,000, culminating in around 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW).
Track day enthusiasts will know to appreciate Stage 4, which brings aftermarket turbochargers into the game alongside MAP sensors and motorsports-grade oil. €20,000 buys you 915 PS (902 hp / 673 kW) and a sense of near-unchallenged supremacy.
True track domination is achieved with Stage 5, which once again upgrades the turbo setup and exhaust system. When all is said and done, the RS7 slams the tarmac with 1,060 PS (1,045 hp / 780 kW). Be prepared to shovel over €30,000 before installation, for the parts only.
