Few cars are as enjoyable to drive on the highway as the Audi RS 7, the self-proclaimed ‘four-door coupe’ with 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) in stock guise and a three-second sprint. What do you think happens when you crank up the power to 1.5 times that?
A recent video from AutoTopNL provides the answer. The car it features looks stock at a first glance, but the deceptive façade conceals larger turbos, a new intercooler, a brand-new exhaust system, and a software tune. Who the tuner is remains unmentioned, but the wheels get hit with something approaching 950 metric horsepower (700 kilowatts), per owner.
As a consequence, the luxobarge has zero trouble accelerating to 330 km/h (205 miles per hour) on a speedway, quite a feat for a saloon weighing 2.3 metric tons (nearly 5,000 lbs). It looks like it could do more, perhaps even 350 km/h (217 mph), but there is an electronic limiter preventing damage to the drivetrain and the tires.
