Auditography, a popular blogger with a soft spot for tuned and restyled Audis, has posted a video and some shots of what he claims is the world’s most powerful Audi RS 7 Sportback. Once tuned to Stage IV, the Ingolstadt car was able to produce 1,148 PS (1,132 hp / 844 kW).
The torque also went through the roof, hitting 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft). To achieve this, most drivetrain components were swapped for high-end racing-grade ones, and the brakes and suspension were modified to boot. A catless downpipe was installed, and a methanol injection system was implemented for sharper acceleration.
As a result, the RS 7, a car that’s sporty but also comfortable and luxurious in its standard form, turned into a hardcore track weapon. Per the author, it now needs 2.51 seconds to go from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) and another 4.32 seconds to reach 200 km/h (124 mph). The stock car is about twice as slow.
