Earlier this year, tuner Mansory unveiled its take on the Audi RS6 Avant, and now, the flagship RS Q8 follows up with a similar range of improvements. Let’s take a closer look.
The full list is quite long, but if you saw the RS6 when it debuted, then you should have a decent idea of what to expect. At the core of the mods is an engine upgrade to 780 PS (769 hp / 574 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, which enables the luxury SUV to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and max out as high up as 320 km/h (199 mph). One of the advantages of the tuning kit is that it mostly limits the modifications to an ECU remap and the installation of a new exhaust system.
The exterior gains a full carbon-fiber body kit with a couple of sporty-looking spoilers and an aggressive diffuser at the rear end. 24-inch forged Mansory YN.5 wheels round off the image, but you can opt for smaller 23-inch Mansory Y.5 ones if you feel like the former diameter is too much. Both sets reduce the curb weight of the car while preserving its nominal load capacity.
Open the door to be greeted by a combination of fine leather, carbon and Alcantara in black with rare red accents, as well as a new steering wheel. Mansory also processes custom orders regarding car interiors, so feel free to contact them if you are interested.
