These latest spy photos show the upcoming Audi S3 hot hatch update with only some localized cladding on the grille, the sills and the rear bumper.
The new design introduces a more aggressively styled front end, larger wheels and a quad exhaust system. Inside, the large infotainment display is now located further down the dash center, and some stylistic cues stem from the technically similar VW Golf Mk8 and Skoda Octavia Mk4 (all three share the same MQB platform).
The new S3 brings more horsepower to the table than its predecessor. Reports say its output will be closer to that of the new VW Golf R – 333 hp, or 248 kW. An RS3 version is likewise underway with a turbo five-cylinder engine and approximately 400 hp (300 kW).
The standard Audi A3 (see video for a brief overview) will likely be present at the 2020 Geneva IMS, and the S3/S3 Sportback should come into the spotlight either later this year or early next year.
