Audi has released photos and technical specs of the new Audi S3 Sportback.
The hot hatch gets a new suspension design with McPherson struts at the front axle and multi-link suspension at the rear one. The shock absorbers are also new, which should translate into better handling.
The car comes powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine rated at 310 hp (230 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, linked to a 7-speed transmission and Quattro AWD. The torque is distributed 50/50 percent by default, but you may freely direct up to 100% to the front or rear axle.
Acceleration-related specs aren’t there yet, but an anonymous source claims that the new Audi S3 Sportback will sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and ultimately get to 250 km/h (155 mph).
The reveal is scheduled for the 2020 Geneva show in Switzerland in March.
