Audi has officially introduced the next generation of its S3 hatchback and sedan. Both sport larger dimensions, new style cues and tech improvements across the board.
You can tell the newcomer from its predecessor by its hexagonal/honeycomb grille pattern, reshaped headlights, larger air intakes, a rear diffuser, and quad exhaust tips.
The cabin avails itself to fine leather and ornamental aluminum and carbon fiber elements. Seat upholstery makes use of an artificial fabric recycled from plastic bottles. The main technological update comes in the shape of an advanced infotainment system that now supports wi-fi and displaying of traffic status in real time.
The new S3 comes powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine rated at 310 hp (231 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), which works in tandem with a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Getting from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 4.8 seconds.
Shipments will begin in October 2020 starting from €46,302 for the base spec.
