Manhart squeezes 400 PS from the Euro-spec Audi S3

The tuner team over at Manhart (Germany) has presented a range of improvements for the Audi S3 sedan, making it sportier than the RS 3 for Europe.

The stock 2.0-liter turbo four-pot gets a new intercooler, a carbon-fiber air intake, a Remus stainless-steel exhaust and an ECU remap. The result is 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) and 515 Nm (380 lb-ft) of torque heading for the asphalt. To put things into perspective, the RS 3 mentioned above has roughly the same amount of power and 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) less torque despite having five cylinders and more displacement volume to work with.

In turn, the suspension gets H&R lowering springs and drops by 30 mm (1.2 inches) on both axles. The exhaust tips can be optioned in carbon fiber.

A peek inside the arches reveals a set of 19-inch Manhart Concave One rims with a satin-black finish.

The interior and the brakes stay untouched, but Manhart will be happy to upgrade them to your spec should you need it. The pricing isn’t there yet.
