Feel dwarfed by this 2.5-meter (8.2-feet) tall Audi S4

US-based tuning firm JXB Performance has unveiled a custom racing-spec Audi S4 that it called its biggest project in history. A closer look at the car’s monstrous splitter and rear wing combo will immediately tell you all you need to know about it.

The company claims that the sedan – which is now two and a half meters or 8.2 feet tall – has superb aerodynamic efficiency thanks to the mods. Both the front splitter and the rear wing have multiple working surfaces that enable flexible adjustment for the exact amounts of downforce needed in each specific case.

How much do the body kit parts weigh? JXB doesn’t answer, but points out that the car itself without the added aero bits shed around 360 kilograms (800 pounds) thanks to carbon-fiber bodywork in some places and a stripped-out cabin.

Other highlights of this insane-looking project include suspension and transmission tweaks, as well as a large cooling fan built into the body near the trunk area. Contrary to our expectations, the fan has no aerodynamic purpose and instead provides cooling to the various drivetrain components.

The sports car took six weeks to design and build, and will participate in races where there are no restrictions imposed on custom aerodynamics.
