The Hoonigan team, famous for prepping cars for races and highlighting the intricacies of the craft in its video blog, has posted another episode of This vs. That featuring an elderly Audi S4 and a relatively fresh Chevrolet Camaro SS. Both have been tuned to the hilt, so predicting the winner may be challenging.
The 2001MY saloon got a six-liter V8 transplant and 912 PS (900 hp / 671 kW) courtesy of forced induction. The engine was mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. The curb weight is just barely above 1,500 kilos (3,400 pounds).
In turn, the Camaro is 7 years old and packs a 6.4-liter supercharged V6. A number of modifications let it hit the rear wheels with 1,054 PS (1,040 hp / 775 kW) through a six-speed manual transmission. Its advantage in power is offset by the rear-wheel drive and the fact that it weighs more than 1,700 kilos (3,840 pounds).
