H&R treats the diesel-chugging Audi S6 Avant to new springs

Who said diesel wagons could never be as enjoyable as sports cars? The new Audi S6 Avant, a mild hybrid that packs 349 hp (260 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, is a shining example of just such a wagon. No wonder H&R felt like bringing out that sportiness with a lowered stance.

The new spring kit costs €344 in Europe and reduces the road clearance by 30 millimeters (1.2 inches), lending the family hauler a fitter silhouette. It also makes it easier to handle at higher speeds, especially when cornering.

Only models fitted with the standard S sports suspension and adjustable shocks are supported.
