Audi has modified two of its high-end diesel sedans for the EU market, leaving the S6 and the S7 without their imitated exhaust tips.
Both cars conceal their actual tailpipes beneath their rear bumpers, so the quad round “exhaust tips” have always been there purely for show. They have now been removed, replaced with plastic trims aligned with the rear diffuser.
This modification hasn’t spread to the gas-powered U.S.-spec sedans yet, so they get to keep their fake finishers. We don’t know if it will change later or not.
